Comtoise rooster clock from the time of the French Revolution, around 1793–1795. Half-hour strike en passant, full-hour strike with repetition on a bell. Jacobin cap on a pike with a laurel wreath and two flags bearing ÉGALITÉ and LIBERTÉ. The lower two corners of the mounting plate lack decorations, likely small rosettes, as the necessary holes are present. The hands date from the 19th century.
