Comtoise clock from the Napoleonic era around 1800/1806. Cast frame with two small angels standing on clouds, carrying the eagle, framed on the left and right by laurel leaves. The lower half of the clock face is covered with brass sheet. 8-day weight-driven movement with verge escapement and folded pendulum, hour strike on a bell with repetition, front pendulum, half-hour strike en passant. Bombé enamel dial with Roman hour numbers and Arabic 5-minute numbers, sun hands.
