Comtoise with verge escapement and folded pendulum from around 1820. Three-part embossed ornamental plate with palmette over stele flanked by winged dragons, pushed under the cambered dial. Dotted corner plates with stylized laurel. Half hour strike en passant and full hour strike on bell with repeater. Enamel dial with bold Roman numerals and quarter indications. Originally without signature. The visible signature, now illegible, was later written on with lacquer: Perrad A (presumably) Montauban.
