Nr. 71 CUM

Comtoise clock with anchor escapement and extremely large lyre-shaped pendulum, circa 1880/90. Half-hour and full-hour strike on a bell with repetition, date display.
The movement plates are not made of iron as usual, but of solid brass (very rare), allowing the bearings to be simply drilled. Alabaster dial with applied enamel cartouches, set into small embossed brass frames. Lyre pendulum with 13 rods and a 32 cm lens.
