Comtoise clock with a simple bezel in Art Nouveau design from the workshop of GLEIZES Paris, 1895, a well-known Parisian manufacturer of design items. The name Gleizes became globally famous through Albert Leon GLEIZES (1881–1953), the son of this manufacturer, who became a renowned painter.
Anchor escapement and folded pendulum with an oval pendulum lens, half-hour and full-hour strike on a bell with repetition of the full-hour strike.
Date display. Hands and numerals of the dial in Art Nouveau design.
