Plate-like enamel dial with combined display of Roman (I-XII ) hour and Arabic ( 5 - 60 ) minute numerals as well as decimal hour ( 1 - 5 ) and minute display ( 15,25,50,100 ). Decade display 1 - 3 and republican calendar ( 2 - 30 ). Large cast brass clasp with volutes and 12 radiating sun head. Sawn brass decorative corners at the top and cast brass decorative corners at the bottom. 8 day movement with verge escapement and 3 weights and 3 bells. 4/4 strike on 2 bells, hour strike on 3rd large bell, no repetition of the hour strike, sawn iron hands.
