Comtoise clock from the Louis Philippe period, dated 1837, with verge escapement and folded pendulum featuring a sun motif. Half-hour passing strike and full-hour strike on a bell with repetition. Two-part embossed brass decorative plate with a sun face, ribbon, cornucopias, palm, and oak leaves. Enamel dial à la Dauphin (arched minute markings). Sun-shaped hands with embossed Apollo heads (see detail photo).
