12-inch Maxi Comtoise with 4/4 strike on 4 bells - Grande Sonnerie, hour strike with repetition, date display, and alarm mechanism (see detail photo) from around 1840/45.
Three-part embossed decorative plate with sun head, fruit bowl, cornucopias, palm leaves, and laurel vines. For this clock, no custom matching decorative roof was embossed; instead, one from a 10-inch Comtoise (27.5 cm) was riveted on (see detail photo). The minute hand disc was adorned with punched sun heads, which can also often be found on the hour hands of sun hands (see detail photo).
