No. 130 CUM
Comtoise clock from the Louis XV period, around 1760/65, originating from the Haute-Marne region.
Side-mounted verge escapement, striking on a bell without repetition, scythe rack. Flat, plate-like enamel dial. The "baked" counter enamel on the back of the dial is clearly visible, as are the impressions of the two round supports on which the dial rested in the oven. Reddish remnants, presumably from a sandstone ring, have adhered to the enamel. The dial was later reattached using metric screws. Unfortunately, the decorative roof (its holder is visible) is missing.
The clock features spacer studs and a retaining bracket. The pendulum runs behind the cage.
Dial diameter: 171 mm
Cage dimensions: 229 x 198 x 124 mm (HxWxD)
Movement dimensions: 280 x 198 x 185 mm (HxWxD, without decorative roof)
Pendulum length: approx. 1200 mm
