No. 528 CUM 10-inch Comtoise month clock from around 1810, verge escapement and pendulum, half hour strike en passant, full hour strike on bell with repeater, cast iron clasp with sun head and folded hands ( symbol of brotherhood ) and smooth one-piece brass plate on the lower half of the dial. Cambered enamel dial with quarter hour indication, resting on the brass plate. Paget replaced the cast iron clasp with his embossed ornamental sheet metal on a typical month clock with a cast iron clasp from around 1810 (there are various contemporary cast iron clasps from around 1810), see no. 173 CUM on page 12, no. 517 CUM on page 14 and No. 525 CUM on page 94.
