11-inch Comtoise clock with anchor escapement and lyre pendulum, half- and full-hour striking on a bell with repetition of the hour strike on a wire gong, alabaster dial with applied blue enamel cartouches. Rare 10-inch brass bezel with embossed structure, mounted with a lower decorative brass rim cut from another decorative brass plate, as there was no 11-inch embossing tool available for this bezel model with an embossed structure. This decorative rim originates from the decorative plate model ??????. On the clock Nr. 377 CUM, which carries the same embossed bezel, the lower bead (10 inches) was not cut, leaving the embossed brass intact, allowing it to be cut to fit as a lower rim for the 11-inch cage.
