No. 549 CUM 10-inch Comtoise clock from the time of Napoleon I around 1800/1805, cast iron head piece with large 12-rayed sun head above a small eagle, large C-arches and grapevines, 8-day cable movement with verge escapement and lead bob pendulum, half and full hour strike with repeater after 2 minutes on bell. Cambered enamel dial with Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for 15 minutes. Signed: Claude francois Ganval.
