9 inch comtoise clock with anchor escapement and lyre pendulum or folded pendulum from around 1870/1880 with a very rare one-piece pressed decorative front plate depicting a large amphora beneath a semicircular arch of 5 c-scrolls (c-scrolls of the louis xv style) framed by vine leaves.
In the lower corners of the dial there is in each case an enclosed heart. Half-hour and hour strike on bell with repetition of the hour strike.
