Nr. 395 CUM A single hand Haut Jura Comtoise clock with a cartouche dial from around 1730/1740. 8-day movement with a verge escapement and lead pendulum. Hour strike on a bell, counting strike mechanism. Half-hour strike en passant. Alarm mechanism. A reproduction of a dial imported from Paris, featuring a medallion of Louis XV in the upper central part with a crown above the globe in the lower central part. Sawed top and brass corner decorations. On the brass signature plate under the dial: MAYET A MORBIER (engraved).
