Comtoise Clock from the Louis XVI period, circa 1790, verge escapement, no half hour strike en passant and no repetition of the full hour strike. The half and full hour strikes are struck from the striking train, which is why the minute wheel already has 2 cams, as became standard after 1850 ( see also fig. no. 9 CUM ).
