11-inch Maxi Comtoise clock with verge escapement and folded pendulum from around 1845/50. Full-hour strike on a bell with 2-minute repetition, alarm mechanism, two-part embossed 12-inch decorative plate featuring a sun head motif, rococo elements, and volutes. Each of the four corners of the dial has two cornucopias. The decorative plate is wider than the case. Enamel dial with Roman numerals, signed: Mazoyer à Nismes (old spelling for Nîmes).
