Nr. 135 CUM

9-inch Comtoise clock with verge escapement and folded pendulum from the period 1855/60, featuring an unusually small enamel dial with a diameter of only 177 mm. Half-hour and full-hour strike on a bell with repetition, including an alarm mechanism. Very heavily embossed decorative plate with a familial gable scene (finished with a ribbing). Around the dial itself and extending to all four corners, there is a vine with grape leaves and grapes. This decorative plate likely originally had an embossed center similar to that of clock No. 137 CUM, as the embossed minute ring is still present, resulting in the clock now having two minute rings.
