Nr. 207 CUM

9-inch Comtoise clockwork from around 1870/80 with a small decentralized seconds display placed in the middle of the dial under the hour numeral XII. To enable this, two additional bar plates were placed centrally in the case to hold the escape wheel axle. The fact that the anchor escapement is a recoiling escapement is clearly visible in the seconds hand, which slightly "recoils" after each forward movement. Half-hour and full-hour striking on a bell with repetition on a gong.

Dial diameter: 220
Case dimensions: 248 x 249 x 142 HxWxD
Movement dimensions: 385 x 249 x 160 HxWxD
Pendulum length: approx. 1200 (all measurements in mm)
