Comtoise with verge escapement and folded pendulum from 1842. Half and full hour strike on bell with repetition after 2 minutes, striking by spring pressure. Two-part embossed decorative plate with sun head and ribbon bow over a goblet filled with flowers and fruit, framed on the sides by cornucopias, palm leaves and acanthus. In each of the 4 corners of the dial 8 leafy blossoms. Enamel dial signed: Gabriel Guignard 1842. Polychrome painted flower pot in the Empire style with integrated date 1842.
