10-inch Comtoise month clock with *Novizin* motif from around 1855, verge escapement with folded pendulum, iron hands, half and full hour strike on bell with repeater, cambered enamel dial signed: TERRIER À LARÉOLE. One-piece embossed decorative plate with lower extension separated by beading. The beading, a mark for cutting off the lower edge, very quickly became standard on 11/10-inch ornamental plates to preserve the 9/10-inch versions.
