11-inch Comtoise clock, 8-day movement with anchor escapement and lyre pendulum or folded pendulum from around 1870/1880, one-piece embossed decorative plate with a large bezel in the decorative roof gable, in which a fluttering cuckoo is depicted. Decorative plate marked top left with DEPOSE and top right with CN. After 1871, the German company Carl Neufeld, based in Iserlohn, supplied many protected decorative plates to manufacturers of Comtoise clocks in the High Jura.
