Comtoise with bow anchor and bob pendulum from around 1825/30. Half hour and full hour strike on bell with repeater, scythe rake. Front full plate made of brass for going and striking train, rear bar plates made of iron. All movement parts are marked with the number 197, but the special feature of this clock is that the rack striking mechanism has an advance, as is the case with the English rack striking mechanism. The striking mechanism is triggered in 3 stages: 1. Fly runs forward, is stopped ! 2. rake falls! 3. the wind arrester is released and the gear train turns, the scoop works.
