Comtoise clock with anchor escapement and harp pendulum from around 1870/80. Half-hour and full-hour strike on a bell with repetition of the full-hour strike. Oval embossed decorative plate with fruits and vine leaves, marked with DEPOSE. Enamel dial with Roman numerals and polychrome floral painting in the lower half around the signature: BALDY & Fils à Salviac (Lot). In the upper half of the dial, two medallions are displayed: the left medallion shows the head of Napoleon III Emperor, and the right medallion bears the inscription: DÉCERNÉE à Mr. BALDY Jeune HORLOGERIE.
