9-inch Comtoise clock with pinwheel escapement (amant) and folded pendulum from around 1825. Half-hour strike en passant, full-hour strike on a bell with repetition, striking mechanism triggered by spring pressure, rear pendulum guidance. Two-piece pressed decorative plate with a palm leaf on a stele and two flickering dragons. At the corners of the dial, four stylized palm leaves on a radially striped background. Enamel dial with quarter-hour indications, where these Arabic numerals are placed in cutouts of the minute track.
