10-inch Comtoise clock with anchor escapement and pressed pendulum, chime on a gong, from around 1870/80. Decorative plate marked: CN DEPOSE ( CARL NEUFELD ), with the "N" stamped in reverse. Overlapping of the brass sheet is visible on the pendulum, which occurred during the pressing process. Such overlaps are very rare in antique pendulums but very common in reproduction pendulums.
