Comtoise with verge escapement, 2 bells and folded pendulum from around 1830. 3/4 strike ( petite sonnerie ) on 2 bells and full hour strike with repetition after 2 minutes on the upper, large bell, striking by spring pressure. Rare two-part embossed decorative plate with palmette over goblet and two flanking winged dragons. In each of the 4 corners of the dial 8 leafy blossoms on a gridded background forming small rectangles. The inside of the dial and the square border of the decorative plate with heart-shaped decorations. Sun hands. Enamel dial signed: Malo à Autun
